Many celebrities make it a point to visit our patients to bring a welcome break to their hospital care. Celebrities visitors come from many walks of life, including actors and actresses, athletes, community leaders, elected officials, and musicians. Below are just a few of those who have visited us recently.
Wipeout Co-Host John Henson Visits Teen LoungeAugust 17, 2010 John Henson took a break from his gig as co-host on the ABC series, Wipeout, to stop by the Chase Teen Lounge for a visit with our patients.
During his stay, he happened to run into a former show contestant whose son was getting an appendectomy! Camila Performs at our HospitalAugust 9, 2010 The members of Mexican platinum rock band, Camila, (Mario Domm, Pablo Hurtado and Samo) gave an intimate, private concert for their fans at our hospital. They also made special visits to patients who are unable to leave their rooms for the performance.

Pau Gasol Observes Spinal SurgeryJuly 2008 The tall man behind the surgical mask is none other than Los Angeles Laker, Pau Gasol, who visited our hospital to view spine surgery on 13-year-old scoliosis patient, Isabelle Shattuck. The profile aired on ESPN on Sunday, August 8, 2010 and features orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. David Skaggs.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, RN Residency Taping
April 5, 2010
Jennifer Love Hewitt visited our hospital to participate in a taping of an introduction and close for a new video for the Versant RN Residency Program.
This program, which originally was founded at our hospital, trains new nurses in specialty nursing for pediatric care.
The program has been so successful that it has been implemented at hospitals across the nation.

Zac Efron made a special visit to our hospital to spend the afternoon beading with cancer patients in our Chase Place playrooms.
