Exploring Nursing and Health Professions

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work as a healthcare professional? Camp CHLA is your chance to explore these exciting careers and is designed for high school students wishing to get into the healthcare profession. Join us for five full days of education, observation and participation in the daily activities of healthcare professionals.

At Camp CHLA, you will:

  • Join registered nurses, respiratory care practitioners, and other healthcare professionals as they care for patients throughout the hospital
  • Observe medical procedures
  • Participate in mock emergencies
  • Get a firsthand look at the fascinating world of healthcare

Camp 1: April 2-6, 2012 - Applications closed

Camp 2: Aug. 6-10, 2012 - Applications open Jan. 30, 2012

Deadline extended: Completed application packets must be received by 5 p.m. on March 23, 2012.

* If you have attended CAMP CHLA before, you are not eligible to re-apply.

Accepted Camp CHLA Members

Accepted applicants will be notified the week of April 30, 2012.
