Keith M. Hobbs, MBA
Vice President, Ancillary and Support Services
Keith M. Hobbs was named vice president of Ancillary and Support Services at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in December 2007. Mr. Hobbs has overall responsibility for the operational and financial oversight of the departments of Radiology, Pathology, and Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine, as well as for Materials Management, Guest Services, Environmental Services, Environment Health & Safety, Security, Parking, and all other contracted services at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Mr. Hobbs was associate vice president of finance, with responsibilities for cost reimbursement, cost accounting, OSHPD, operating and capital budgeting and turnaround initiatives, prior to his appointment as vice president, ancillary and support services. Mr. Hobbs was administrative director of the Department of Surgery, from 2001 to 2006, responsible for the oversight of the budget and expenditures with an operating income of $15 million and operating expenses of $6.2 million. He also has been the manager of Decision Support (1996-2000). Prior to his first appointment at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in 1992, Mr. Hobbs was employed at Security Pacific Corporation (1989-1991) and at Walt Disney Imagineering (1991-1992). Mr. Hobbs received a bachelor’s degree in business administration (1989) from California State University, Northridge, and a master’s degree in business administration (1998) from National University. He is a member of Hospital Association of Southern California, American College of Healthcare Executives, and Medical Group Management Association. Mr. Hobbs is a member of the board of the Vision Center at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. Mr. Hobbs is a resident of Santa Clarita, California. |
