Our hospital hosts an annual summer camp program for young women, ages 12-19, who are diagnosed with Turner Syndrome.

Camp Activities
Features of our annual camp include:
- Theatre workshops
- Beach parties
- Team building games
- Dance classes
- Evening excursions/theatres in Los Angeles
- A "Salon Day" with a team of hairstylists from Vidal Sassoon Academy
- Nutritional counseling: one-on-one sessions and gourmet cooking classes with registered dietitians
- Presentations on Turner Syndrome by Mitchell Geffner, M.D., one of our hospital's experts in pediatric endocrinology
Camp Counselors
The counselors are young adult professionals who also have Turner Syndrome and formerly attended camp.
Medical Supervision
The medical supervision includes two nurses with a specialization in Endocrinology who will be in residence throughout the week..
The Turner Syndrome Camp is sponsored by the USC Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, an interdisciplinary program of the Division of General Pediatrics, headed by Dr. Robert Jacobs.
