Services Provided

Through Project NATEEN, pregnant and parenting teens receive a full spectrum of: supportive services, including: 

  • Health Education
  • Parent Education 
  • Counseling

Young parents, their families and partners work with specially-trained advocates to identify needs and the paths to accomplish them. Project NATEEN supports young fathers in becoming actively involved in their child’s economic, social, and emotional support. 

Collaborative Services

NATEEN collaborates with community partners to link youth with services as:

  • Prenatal care
  • Health care for the teen and her child
  • Housing assistance 
  • Public benefits 
  • School and academic counseling 
  • Vocational training

Project NATEEN has an on-site independent study program supported by the Los Angeles County Office of Education. 

Teen Parent Academy

The Harold Edelstein Foundation supports Project NATEEN’s Teen Parent Academy, a program that prepares teen parents for employment and supports future planning and independence.
