Trauma EducationMembers of the Trauma Program devote considerable time to teaching at all levels, including hospital personnel, medical residents and attending staff. In doing so, we train future pediatric trauma specialists and enhance the overall level of trauma care for children. Pediatric Residents RotationPediatric residents from our hospital, as well as from five other pediatric, emergency medicine and family practice residency programs rotate through the Division of Emergency and Transport Medicine each year. Faculty provide a formal lecture series, training labs, mock codes and other teaching services. FellowshipIn addition, the Division of Emergency and Transport Medicine offers a three-year fellowship program, training two fellows annually in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
