Partners for the Future“…I hereby deliver to the Children’s Hospital Society that certain piece of real property…at the southeast corner of Sunset Boulevard and Vermont Avenue…” With this single bequest, motivated by deep compassion and a desire to care for sick children, Emma Phillips began a tradition of giving that continues today. Her bequest to our hospital changed the course of our history and serves as a compelling reminder of what one person’s planning can bring to an entire century of children. Created in Ms. Phillips honor, the Emma Phillips Society honors individuals who establish partnerships with the hospital that will strengthen its ability to help children far into the future.
