Program Description

This ACGME approved fellowship provides a clinical experience from which evolves opportunity for teaching at the professional and lay levels, developing research, participating in advocacy and policy development and elective opportunity for project development. 

Settings for Experience

Clinical experiences are tailored to expose the trainee to adolescents in a variety of settings:

  • Hospital-based
  • Homeless/high risk clinics
  • School based/university based clinics
  • Residential programs

Research

Fellows conduct research and are mentored by medical and behavioral health faculty and are involved in advocacy and policy development activities through the Division’s community based programs.  

Applicants

The program welcomes applicants from:

  • Pediatrics (3 years)
  • Internal medicine (3 years)
  • Medical/pediatrics/internal medicine (2-3 years)
  • Family practice (2 years)
