Mission

The mission of The Saban Research Institute of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is to foster an environment of scientific excellence where biomedical research will lead to discoveries involving the molecular and clinical understanding of childhood development and the implementation of procedures to better diagnose, treat, and prevent pediatric diseases and to promote child health.

Vision

In 2020, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles will be a national leader in academic and clinical pediatrics focusing on its unique mission and geographic and cultural resources and driving excellence in clinical care and health services through innovative laboratory, patient, and community-based research.
