Thank you for your interest in raising funds for Children's Hospital Los Angeles!  We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of community supporters like you to provide the highest quality health care for children each day.

For many of you, this may be your first fundraising event and it's important to think about logistics before getting started. This information is designed to help you plan a successful event to benefit Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

Getting Started

  1. Read the guidelines for community events.
  2. Download and complete the community fundraising events application.
  3. Upon approval from event staff, begin planning for a successful event!

All event proceeds will benefit The Children's Fund unless otherwise noted.

Community Fundraising Success Story: The Kling Street Kids

The Kling Street Kids are a group of kids, ages ranging from 5 to 17, who started soliciting funds to benefit Children's Hospital Los Angeles eight years ago. To date, the Kling Street Kids have raised $55,686.81!

Fundraising during the 2009 holiday season accounted for $10,893.20 of the overall total and marked the 2nd highest annual total raised in the group's history.

Recognized as a grass-roots neighborhood group, the Kling Street Kids are comprised of approximately 25 kids who live in the neighborhood of Toluca Lake, California. The funds collected by the Kling Street Kids will go towards caring for and improving the lives of the patients being treated at Children's Hospital.

Special thanks to the Kling Street Kids for their fundraising efforts and for setting a wonderful example of how to make a positive difference in the lives of our young patients!
