National Postdoctoral Appreciation Week

The Saban Research Institute (TSRI) celebrates our outstanding postdoctoral community once a year during National Postdoctoral Appreciation Week, offering a series of career development workshops, networking opportunities and social activities. In 2010, the National Postdoctoral Association achieved official recognition of a postdoctoral appreciation week from the U.S. House of Representatives. Since then, every third week in September, top research institutions across the country have hosted events to celebrate the vital contributions postdocs make to research advancement. TSRI proudly participates in this important week as an opportunity to demonstrate our sincere appreciation for Children's Hospital Los Angeles' outstanding postdocs as we work to improve our understanding of the developmental origins of health and disease.
